Yard House

Steele Platt knows what Denver likes. Although the restaurateur, who had several places in the Tivoli in the ’80s, left Colorado decades ago, the Yard House chain that he founded in California in 1996 is also ideally suited for Colorado. For starters, beers are big at the Yard House – the restaurant has over a hundred beers on tap alone – and the menu is big, too, with dishes suited to just about every taste served in gargantuan portions. Whether it’s the Yard House in Colorado Mills, the first to open in metro Denver, or the big, spacious spot on the 16th Street Mall that packs in diners and drinkers at all hours, or the newest entry in Park Meadows, designed to satiate the thirst of suburbanites parched for fun, there’s a Yard House right in your back yard.
