Colorado health and marijuana officials have issued a recall order for THC vape products from Clearview Industries LLC, a Denver-based company.

According to an August 6 health and safety notice from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division, a product called
Nerd Bar 5G from Clearview is being recalled after lab testing found potentially unsafe levels of three banned pesticides: bifenazate, fluopyram and myclobutanil.

The Nerd Bar vaporizer brand is known for all-in-one disposable vaporizers that come with five grams of THC distillate. According to the MED, the flagged Nerd Bar products were sold between July 1 and July 29 of this year.

Clearview initiated the voluntary recall, the MED adds. The company could not be reached for comment.

"Consumers who possess this affected product should destroy it or return it to the store from which it was purchased for proper disposal. Consumers who experience adverse health effects after consuming the affected product should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the MED by submitting a MED reporting form," the MED notice reads. "The MED has not received any reports of adverse health events related to these products to this point."

Fluopyram and myclobutanil are both fungicides used to combat mold and common fungus found on cannabis, but are not deemed safe for human consumption via combustible inhalation, such as smoking and vaping. Myclobutanil is an active ingredient in Eagle 20, a banned cannabis fungicide that was common in marijuana growing before licensed regulations.

Bifenazate is a pesticide used to kill mites and other agricultural pests. It is not deemed acutely toxic by the EPA, but bifenazate is banned by the Colorado Department of Agriculture in cannabis cultivation, and can affect the liver in high doses.

The recalled Nerd Bar vaporizers were sold at approximately eighteen stores across Colorado, according to the recall.

This is the ninth marijuana recall issued by the MED in 2025. The most recent safety orders, issued in June, were over edibles, vaporizers, infused pre-rolls that were initially approved by a state-licensed lab but then failed additional testing
