Dear Stoner: My dog constantly barks at and tries to bite clouds of weed smoke. Please help. He almost took out my friend's girlfriend in the joint circle the other day, and it's annoying during my sessions.

Dear Bobson: Did you adopt your dog? Pets often pick up odd reactions and habits from previous owners. Then again, some dogs are just meant to chase and bark at things. I've had dogs that barked at anyone in our pool and loved to bite at drops of water as we splashed around. My friend's Rottweiler would always try to jump and bite at weed smoke, but only when we blew o's.

I'm sure there are plenty of discipline-oriented training techniques you can try, all of which I'm too stoned and underqualified to explain. And based on your proclivity for pot-smoking sessions, something tells me you'd give up within two weeks. No judgment: I'm just reflecting on my own habits.

Here's a crazy thought: Have you ever tried not being in the same room as your dog when you smoke weed? I know we sometimes have more separation anxiety than our pets do, but c'mon. A joint only takes ten or fifteen minutes, and you can disappear for a quick bong hit before the dog even knows you're gone.
