In addition to other items once owned by Whitney Houston being offered up to the highest bidder, the sprawling mansion where the legendary performer once lived in Mendham, New Jersey, is reportedly being tastelessly touted by a real estate broker from Beverly Hills as "the scene of the activity that brought down this incredible musical diva over a 15 year cycle." Or it was, rather. Since coming to light, the private listing for the house on CarProperty.com has been softened to read: "The mansion was also used in the filming of a 2005 reality show in which she and her ex-husband appeared at a very rough time in Whitney's life."

But lest any star-crazed fans misinterpret the seemingly tasteless enticement of the listing and commence to making plans to drop by for a private showing, the broker also made sure to add a disclosure -- in all caps, no less -- that anyone interested in seeing the property would need to get in touch with the broker directly, as the house is not on MLS (Multiple Listing Service), and that "We will require 100% disclosure by you of your identity and proof of at least $1,750,000 in liquid assests or loan pre-approvals."

The listing also includes photos of the once gorgeous 12,000-square foot mansion, which RadarOnline notes, appear to be outdated, as the house is presently overrun by weeds. Page down to have a look at the pics.
