Drink your water, kids. You're gonna wanna stay plenty hydrated if you're going to be getting down this weekend. The nightlife is red hot in the Mile High City: There are tons of fresh parties, including the first Lipgloss party at Beauty Bar, a special one-night-only edition of So What! at La Rumba and another edition of Damn Gurl, and the dance card is stacked with Perc, Zuk and plenty more. The sun is shining and the weather is sweet. No better time to put on your party hat and get down to the rhythm. Page down for the weekend's best nightlife bets.

FRIDAY, JUNE 8

The first Lipgloss party at Beauty Bar is going down tonight featuring guest Sammy Bananas and resident music masters boyhollow and option4. (9 p.m., 21+up, No cover before 10p.m., $5 after 10p.m.)

Meanwhile, in the former home of Lipgloss, the long running and legendary So What! hosted by Big Styles and DJ Knee is making its return to La Rumba for a special one-night-only engagement. (9 p.m., 21+, No cover before 10 p.m., $5 after 10 p.m.)

The special "All That Glitters" edition of Damn Gurl will feature sounds from Laru Loud, Peter Black, Narky Stares and more. Whip out your glitter and dust on a little gorgeous and party at the Glob (3551 Brighton Blvd., 8p.m., all ages, $5).

Get your dance on early today in a digital manner with the Traveling S#!T Show, a collection of local artists (The Missing Link, SEQUENCE and John Templeton are the core; Daegon will be representing at this gig, too); visit http://ustream.tv/beatport from 3 to 5 p.m. to get in on the tunes. (3 p.m., all ages, free)

The illustrious techno god Perc (the man behind the lauded Perc Trax label, obviously) is on a Perc Trax tour that lands on NORAD tonight; Jeff Derringer and Mick Finesse will support at what's bound to be a mind-blowing show. (9 p.m., 21+, $5 before 10 p.m., $10 after)

At Beta, Camo and Krooked bring the bass along with Mystical Influence and Subliminal for some dark, heavy action; in the Beatport Lounge, P.U.N.C.H.I.S. featuring Greg Eversoul, Ben A and DJ LoBoT will test the speakers. (18+, 9 p.m., $5-$15)

Production giants Lazer Sword will cut into crowds at the Bluebird Theater tonight; the duo started off doing fresh, innovative takes on hip-hop and have now delved into the realm of electro, so who knows what's on the decks? Seied, Thorazine and Stew Bird will support. (8 p.m., all ages, $15)

Irie Fridays, the newest reggae party to turn Kinga's Lounge into a dance hall has been heating up the streets with sounds and grooves. Richie Rich and So Soulful present a pretty happening party with awesome drink specials. (9 p.m., 21+up)

NORAD is continuing its techno trend for the weekend with a crazy lineup: Diizel, Daegon, Angel Castro, Smyl:e, MangleSon, Devious D, Scott Paradis and Tom Havens -- and groups of six or more get a complimentary bottle of champagne. Bubbles! (9 p.m., 21+, no cover)

At Beta on Saturday night, it's all about that dance floor; veteran anthem-spinner Cedric Gervais will team up with Dragon and Jontron for an unforgettable evening of music. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)

Tonight at Opal Lounge, DJ Bushy Bush and friends will be celebrating the birthdays of Gemini folks. Ladies drink free Ciroc, Jamaican food will be available for free as well, and there are enough drink specials to keep you moving to the island sounds all night. (9 p.m., 21+up, $5)

Future Jazz Project promises to "plug and play, drag and drop," over at 1919 Gallery (Between 14th and 15th, on Tremont) for you all night long. Come ease into your super late night (or super early morning) with these hip-hop soulful sounds. Yes, do this. (10 p.m., 21+up, $5)
