Netflix continues to rack up ratings with its three-part series Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenĂ©t Ramsey? And John Ramsey, who pushed the narrative through all three episodes, continues to talk about his quest to solve his daughter's killing, most recently today on CNN's Smerconish after an appearance on NewsNation earlier this week, when Geraldo Rivera apologized to him for a particularly tasteless mock trial in 1997.

But will the renewed attention help solve the case? In their comments on the Westword Facebook page and in emails, readers share a wide range of theories on the almost-thirty-year-old murder. Says Frank:
Thanks so much for watching the Netflix series so that we didn't have to. There is just so much crap out there about the murder of JonBenet Ramsey. At this point, the case will never be solved.
Responds Sue:
You're wrong. The case was solved from the start, but no one will ever be charged. You don't need to look any further than the occupants of the home — the Ramsey family.
Counters Ellie:
You’re frigging insane if the heat is put on no one! Geraldo Rivera and his “child abuser expert” who saw a child faking saxophone playing as ninety seconds of masturbation? Boulder “police” reporting that they checked the house thoroughly, leading Dad to find his murdered child’s body in a basement where a window is broken and open? A female detective doing a press junket saying she was face to face with the killer, and she was happy to be armed around John Ramsey?
Sorry, maybe you’re too close and invested in protecting your own, but the Ramsey family should frigging own all of Boulder and half of Colorado, as well as all Gerardo’s assets.
Offers Susie:
My prayers go out to the Ramsey family. The police department and the media were appalling and should be held accountable. Very sad.
Suggests James:
She was likely being trafficked, the world of pageants is dark. Dead men (or kids) tell no tales.
And this from Joyce Jacques-Singular, who was interviewed for the Netflix series:
And yet, many new tips coming in to authorities and others…
