Denver ChopHouse takes off at DIA

For months, the sign on the boarded-up space in Concourse A taunted us: The Denver ChopHouse & Brewery would be opening a branch at the airport. But when?

Turns out, sometime last weekend -- in the middle of a Westword writer's trip back East. Sometimedturing his travels, this outpost of the popular, Louisville-based chain (there are four official restaurants: in Denver, Boulder, Cleveland and Washington, D.C.) had opened without fanfare.

But all that will change at noon on April 21, when HMSHost, the airport concessionaire that's running DIA's ChopHouse, hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony .
