And today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Garbanzo is partnering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled on a private, pre-opening fundraiser at the new spot. "This exceptional organization helps change the lives of citizens in Colorado and nationwide living with various disabilities," Mor says, "and we are thrilled to be a part of their efforts."
The party will continue on September 1, when the store will open at 10:30 a.m. (and stay open until 10 p.m., standard Garbanzo hours) and host several giveaways -- including a free Garbanzo tote for the first hundred guests (a deal that will repeat on September 10).
"We are very happy to now provide our fresh, healthy and authentic Mediterranean cuisine to the University Hills community," Mor says. "Denver as a whole has taken to Garbanzo extremely quickly, and this area has always been a big supporter."
Garbanzo has eyes on an expansion outside of Colorado, but for now, it's focused on the Front Range, with one location in Colorado Springs and the others stretched across metro Denver, everywhere from Highland to Highlands Ranch. For more information, go to eatGarbanzo.com
