This week Gretchen Kurtz reviewed the Union Station outpost of Zoe Ma Ma, the second home-style Taiwanese eatery from Edwin Zoe and his chef/mom Anna. And while she found deep flavors in a bowl of Sichuan braised-beef noodle soup, she also put some deep thought into the idea of service fees that more restaurants — including Zoe Ma Ma — are starting to tack on to cover rising food costs and employee wages.

After dining at Denver's oldest Peruvian restaurant, Los Cabos II, Mark Antonation also took some time to think over his year of  eating in ethnic restaurants and came up with a list of the ten best dishes from the Ethniche series to date. In other news:

RESTAURANTS/BARS OPENING THIS WEEK*

Kneaders Bakery Cafe, 7945 Wadsworth Boulevard, Arvada
