Some longtime Denver restaurants — Andre's Confiserie Suisse, Le Central, Rosa Linda's Mexican Cafe — closed in 2015, and Denver's losing some of its newer favorites, too — places that people with pets were particularly partial to. After a year of doggie drama, the Bark Bar closed last January, and exactly a year later the Barker Lounge — one of the city's most pet-friendly places — closed, too. As we reported last week, its space on Santa Fe Drive is now advertised on Craigslist. The sad news prompted Patricia to ask:
What is happening to this town? All the fun and cool places are vanishing.
Did you go to the Bark Bar? The Barker Lounge? What pet-friendly spots are left?
