Early Sunday morning, a body was found with gunshot wounds in a field at the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Pecos Street, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). The Denver Coroner's Office has just identified the victim as Jacob Medina, 21, of Lakewood. The brief release is below.

On May 31st, 2009 this office was requested to respond to the Arizona and Pecos Street, in Denver. Jacob Medina, age 21, of Lakewood, Colorado was found dead. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. Requests for an autopsy report when it is completed can be made via e-mail.
