Local beatsmith Selko has officially inked a licensing agreement with Atom Factory Music Licensing last month. According to Selko, the deal came about when he sent a recent instrumental of his to music supervisor, Paul Stewart, who liked what he heard and responded rather quickly. The licensing company later presented Selko the chance to work with it on future projects.

Atom Factory is a licensing and supervision company that uses their relationships with artists, labels and publishers to serve its clients and shop music to various forms of media worldwide, including film and television placement. "Movies in general have had a great impact on my production style," says Selko. "So I'd have to say hearing my music in a blockbuster film would be a great achievement"

Selko maintains that he will remain true to his unique style and is committed to not using computer software or samples for his production. He says he's utilizing this opportunity to perfect his craft with unbridled potential in mind. "I think the possibilities are limitless and anything can happen," he says. "One of my dreams is to make music that changes lives and motivates people to achieve their goals. AFML is providing me with a great opportunity to reach more people and help bring my dreams closer to reality."
