As reported by the Denver Post's Bill Husted, Melo recently described the Colorado housing market as "tough" in a Women's Wear Daily interview. And no wonder, given the bath he took on his spectacular local pad.
The original Kentwood Real Estate listing, which is still online, describes the joint like so:
FAMOUS ATHLETES ESTATE-5.7 GATED ACRES, 21000 MAIN HOUSE WITH 3 SUPPORT BUILDINGS-7 CAR GARAGE-GUEST HOUSE-SOUND STUDIO-6 STALL BARN W/PASTURE-POND-GATED, FENCED-THEATER-GYM-8 BEDROOMS-15 BATHS-PERFECT CONDITION-DEEP WELL.
No question the place is breathtaking. And while the half-price sale won't cause Anthony to go hungry thanks to his $65 million contract with the New York Knicks and blizzard of endorsement deals, he richly deserves the smack he's just been given by the real-estate gods.
