This past weekend, a man was found dead in a recycling bin located in an alley near 22nd and Clarkson.

He was subsequently identified as Charles Moore Hardy.

Now, Denver Police have made an arrest in the case.

Teresa Rosemarie Harris, 35, is being held on a murder one charge relating to Hardy, who was stabbed to death.

On Sunday, December 13, 2009, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Denver Police Department responded to the location of the 2200 block alley of Clarkson / Emerson Street on a report of a body in a trash receptacle. In the receptacle, officers located the body of a deceased male later identified as Charlie Hardy (35). An autopsy determined that the cause of death related to stab wounds.

Through the investigation, officers identified Teresa Rosemarie Harris, 12/9/1964, as a suspect. On December 15, 2009, police arrested Ms. Harris and currently hold her for investigation of Murder in the First Degree. Detectives will submit the case to the Denver District Attorney for consideration of formal charges.
