Cafe Colore has been a fixture in downtown's Writer Square for as long as we care to remember, but the touristy pizza place is now closed. A new tenant, Illegal Burger, will be moving in later this summer after a renovation of the space.
Illegal Burger, operated by restaurateur Jim Nixon, currently has locations in Arvada and Evergreen and offers a range of burgers made from fresh (never frozen) beef and organic produce, as well as milkshakes, including boozy, adult blends.
