Six-year-old music venue Casselman's will close in River North after shows this Saturday and Sunday — and with it, the neighborhood will also lose some prime barbecue. Sons of Scullery Gourmet BBQ operated out of the music hall, serving up tasty pork, brisket and ribs to fans of live music and good 'cue alike.

We'll miss the mustard-hued Carolina pulled pork, which was good enough to land the Sons on our 2015 list of the Ten Best Barbecue Joints in Denver — and they also made some damn fine deep-fried corn bread. Although the Sons of Scullery website mentions that the team operates a cart on the 16th Street Mall, we were unable to reach them to see if they have plans to continue.
