Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and local restaurants are serving up a variety of specials and prix fixe dinners, while reservations are filling up fast at the city’s most romantic eateries.

Just in time for the holiday, Yelp has released its own list of the best date spots in the U.S. – and four Colorado restaurants made the cut. “We identified businesses in the restaurants and food categories with a large
concentration of reviews mentioning words and phrases such as ‘date night,’ ‘romantic,’ ‘valentine,’ and ‘anniversary,'” Yelp explains in a press release. “We then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords between January 1, 2021, and December 1, 2024. We included a maximum of three businesses per city for geographic diversity.”

The picks aren’t surprising, and would certainly fit the bill for a memorable date night. Here are the Colorado restaurants that landed on Yelp’s list:

Guard and Grace
1801 California Street

Last year, this upscale downtown restaurant from chef Troy Guard was named one of the best steakhouses in the world. It’s also included as a recommended restaurant in Colorado’s Michelin Guide. From giant steaks to creative small plates, it’s a great spot to splurge with your special someone. Be sure to end the meal with one of the best sweet treats in town, a half dozen of its signature triple chocolate chip cookies, which you can pair with a mini espresso martini.
