On Sunday afternoon, we randomly wandered over to the 7-11 on Broadway and 3rd Avenue to find a parking lot overtaken by sweet cars. In the second annual "Bringing You Back To Broadway" car show, local promotor and DJ "Cruisin'" Dave Bos and his wife Sandi put together a day of classic autos and oldies tunes at the convenience store. Minus it being yet another weekend of blistering heat, cherry roadsters, vintage motorcycles and tricked-out trucks made for a good time for the crowd of people who came to enjoy the free show. Just one of the dozens of car shows Cruisin' Dave puts on throughout the year, the Broadway showing was a nice change of scenery, with all colors and eras of cool automobiles parked along the main drag. The day included some prize giveaways and trivia contests too, adding up to a low-key afternoon of hanging out and starring at cars. Oh, and Slurpee consumption. Follow us on Twitter!
