At the end of January, Ballpark neighborhood watering hole DADA Art Bar went dark, and Iain Chisholm, chef/owner of Americatus just around the corner, told us that he had sold his share of the bar to his partners, who were expecting to reopen under new management. But the DADA space is still vacant and is now for lease through the Focus Property Group.
DADA originally opened two years ago as a craft cocktail bar and gallery space for local artists. The prime location at Larimer Street and Broadway shares the corner in the same building as Los Chingones, Sugarmill, Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs and Americatus. Focus did not return our call requesting details, but interested parties can inquire at 303-296-7550, extension 19. With the bar and restaurant boom that has hit RiNo and Ballpark over the past two years, the address is ripe for the right concept.
