The bar and restaurant at 3014 East Colfax Avenue had previously been known by three names: 3014, Odelay and the Beetle Bar. But when new owners Dave Cleland, John Elliott and Toby Waters took over the space, in the summer of 2014, they wanted to consolidate both the bar's name and its image. In February 2015, they dubbed it Southside Bar & Kitchen and started hosting live music there. In addition, the taps were amped up to 25 brews (including a number of local craft beers) and a new cocktail menu was created. The new drink roster includes some very accessible cocktails and a lot of classics, much of the in the $6-$8 range.
