Woody's Wings N' Things

This dark, sparsely decorated strip-mall joint in Westminster (which is not affiliated with the Aurora or Arvada locations) sees a steady flow of diners who fill the booths and long community tables. They flock to Woody's Wings n' Things not just for different preparations of chicken wings, but for a long list of dishes with their roots in the Indochina peninsula, all illustrated with glossy pictures in a massive binder. Much of the Woody's staff hails from Cambodia, the source of many of these dishes -- but there are also items whose origins lie in Thailand, Vietnam, China and Laos. Although some of the recipes are adjusted slightly for the American palate, the sticky rice, hot pots and a handful of noodle soups give diners an authentic taste of Southeast Asia.
