The Offspring Announces Denver Show With New Found Glory and Jimmy Eat World

Gen X and elder millennials are in for a helluva summer, with such bands as Metallica as well as festivals like Punk in the Park coming to town. And more big news came on March 4, when the Offspring announced its Supercharged Worldwide Tour this summer, which will include openers Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory.

The North American leg of the tour will see the bands perform 34 dates, including a show at Ball Arena on September 7. The tour celebrates the Offspring's latest release, SUPERCHARGED, which is the band's eleventh album since forming in Garden Grove, California, in 1984.

Jimmy Eat World, which formed in Arizona in 1993, and New Found Glory, which started in Florida in 1997, are natural choices for openers on this tour, with complementary pop-punk sounds that sprung from the alternative punk-rock revival proliferated by the Offspring and other bands in the '90s and early 2000s.

Presale tickets will be available for Citi cardmembers from March 4 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 6.

All tickets will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, via livenation.com.
