Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
As we've noted in this space, Denver's housing market is so hot right now that plenty of places are go for way over list price.
But how else can you stand out from other house hunters without backing up an armored car to the real estate office?
Ben and Cheri, seen here, found a way. They created a music video about the home of their dreams set to the tune of "Good Golly Miss Molly," with the last word switched out for Holly, the Denver street where it's located.
An unusual strategy, but it worked: The folks at Live Urban Real Estate confirm that the home's owners picked Ben and Cheri's offer from among those submitted for the house, a two-story abode in the Mayfair area listed for $575,000.
