Last year, the World Famous Wake Up Show connected with UrSession.com to host a hip-hop contest called the 100K Battle. This battle consisted of well-known hip-hop producers like DJ Muggs, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, Alchemist and others, donating beats to any rapper who wanted to spit a rhyme. The beats were said to be worth $100,000 by industry standards, hence the name of the contest. Hip-hop fans would vote on the rappers they felt made the best songs. In the end, it basically came down to a popularity contest, more than one focused on talent and skills. Even though Orlando rapper Murdoc won the contest, there were some Colorado artists who participated and put up some decent songs. One of them was Infinite Mindz, with their cut "Maybe" over a beat produced by THX (Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg Jay-Z). The track is just too hot to just let sit by the wayside.
