We would hate for you to miss out on all the awesome that happens every weekend in our fair city, so we've decided to run down three of the best shows in one easy-to-swallow post, with video and audio. Tell us -- and the rest of the world -- what we missed in the comments.

3. Tribute Bands Galore! Under a Blood Red Sky: U2 Tribute Band Boulder Theater Saturday, January 9. Doors at 8pm. $12

The Velvet Elvis The Oriental Theater Friday, January 8. Doors at 8pm. $12

The Original Kiss Army The Fox Theater Friday, January 8. Doors at 8pm. $20

Ted Fiorino and Lights: A Journey Tribute The Soiled Dove Saturday, January 9. Doors at 8pm. $10

Why you should go: Tribute bands for U2, Elvis, KISS, and Journey are playing. Need we say more? Plus, with the exception of Kiss Army, all of these tribute acts are homegrown.

2. Lipgloss First Fridays After Party La Rumba Friday, January 8. Doors at 9pm. $5 or free before 10pm Why you should go: First Friday Art Walks are always a blast but, after milling around those galleries we think the best place to let loose is Lipgloss. Ginger Perry is hosting and resident DJ's boyhollow and Chase Dobson know how to give a crowd great tunes that we can dance (and sing) to. Plus, the drinks are cheap unlike all that art. Not to mention the fact that it is perfectly located in the Golden Triangle so it isn't far from the Art Walks anyway. Listen:

3. 15 Minutes of Fame DJ Competition Kick Off The Church Friday, January 8. Doors at 9pm. $10 Why you should go: Yes, we're on a bit of a dance kick today.Yet, a club night that features nine DJ's spinning everything from hip-hop to industrial is hard to pass up. If that's not enough, there will be plenty of go-go dancers and glow-stick waving people to entertain everyone.
