This past spring, we reported that Amie Arias was launching a new food truck -- an all-vegan truck, as it happens. Although it wasn't ready for the planned June launch, the Vegan Van finally made its first run last Wednesday. (The mobile food unit license from the city was issued November 17.)

And it was back on the streets today.

The Vegan Van has a dozen or so items on its winter menu; its Facebook page and Twitter feeds will let you know what the van is serving that day, and where. But between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, you can usually find it at Fifth Avenue and Santa Fe, along with a handful of other food trucks.
