Denver Police Department reps were called after an infant was checked into an area hospital with terrible injuries. Next step? DPD arrested the child's parents, Travis Anderson, 26, and Crystal Eccleston, 27, for investigation of felony child abuse.

Look below for a phot of Anderson and more details. In the meantime, let's hope that, for the baby's sake, the update of this story doesn't land in the Mile High Murder category.

On December 15, 2009, Denver Police received a call from Children's Hospital concerning an infant who had severe injuries. Denver Police Officers responded to the hospital and determined the infant's injuries were consistent with physical abuse. The parents have been arrested and jailed for investigation of Felony Child Abuse Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. The father has been identified as Travis Anderson (DOB 2/12/83) and the mother as Crystal Eccleston (DOB 3/7/82).

The infant remains in critical condition at Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
