The just-announced Black Crowes show the Fillmore on Sunday, August 29 might be the last chance to see them in the area for a while. The group is planning on taking an indefinite hiatus after its "Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys 2010 Tour," which kicks off in August and wraps up in December.

As part of this twentieth anniversary celebration of the band's debut, Shake Your Money Maker, the Crowes will play three-hour shows in most cities, including hour and a half acoustic sets followed by hour and a half electric sets. On August 3, the Crowes will also release Croweology, an all-acoustic double album that includes twenty cuts from their twenty-year history.

General admission tickets are $49.50 in advance and $50 at the door and go on sale Saturday, May 15 at 10 a.m.
