Season four of Mad Men doesn't get underway until July 25. But for Denver fans addicted to the show like it's characters crave nicotine, AMC has a temporary fix.

Tonight from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Retro Room is hosting a Mad Men mixer, and those who arrive clad in early '60s finery will have a chance to win a poster autographed by star Jon Hamm. And that's not all, teases party planner Laura Chapin.

"Unfortunately, we won't have the season four premiere," Chapin says. "But we do have the complete season three on DVD to hand out as prizes."

In addition, the bash will feature Canadian Club whiskey and Heineken beer -- both clients of Sterling Cooper, the fictional ad agency Don Draper (Hamm) left at the end of last season -- as well as period appropriate noshes and more. Chapin, who'll be wearing a dress who mother made in 1964, notes that "AMC sees Denver as a target city -- and they figure people have vintage stuff in their closets, or they know where to find it."

Better dig out that Jackie Kennedy finery quick. Here are more details on tonight's party:

It's a Mad Men Affair

Denver Fans of the AMC's critically acclaimed series "Mad Men," winner of three consecutive Golden Globes® and back-to-back Emmys® for Outstanding Drama Series, will be celebrating the kickoff of the new season with a party that would make Sterling Cooper proud. The fourth season of "Mad Men" begins July 25.

From 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, the Retro Room at 2034 Larimer St. in Denver will be all glammed up with 1960s cocktail party chic. Judges will award fabulous prizes for best costumes, including an exclusive, not available to the public "Mad Men" poster autographed by Don Draper himself, Jon Hamm.

The Menu, Circa 1964:

• Food: Deviled eggs, chips & dip with veggie crudite, cheese balls, pigs in a blanket, shrimp cocktail, chocolate covered strawberries.

The Bar:

• Drinks: Canadian Club (Don Draper's favorite), Heineken (client of Sterling Cooper ad agency), Manhattans, Tom Collins, Grasshoppers, Martinis, and a full bar.

So dress up in your finest "Mad Men" style, and see you at the Retro Room on June 29 as we get ready to celebrate Season 4 of this Emmy-winning series!
