Hey, Denver drag fans! Are you ready for your close-up? Do you want to be part of a locally shot music video for one of your favorite, world-renowned drag personalities? Then mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 10, at Tracks Denver.

The video shoot is looking for 100 “sexy” people who are willing to show up dressed to impress in “cocktail attire” and also up for “removing clothing and oiling up” à la Britney’s "Slave 4 U" music video. The shoot has two scenes and times: 7 p.m. for the first, and 10 p.m. for the second, a dance scene.

The “prominent drag personality” who’s starring in this video hasn’t been announced, but the shoot is being done by Denver’s Geek Mythology Productions, which burst onto the scene with fun music videos for RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Sharon Needles, Alaska Thunderfuck, Adore Delano and Miss Fame, so it’s guaranteed to be a fierce, fabulous time!

If being part of a cocktail party that suddenly gets scandalous and interrupted by a queen sounds perfect for you, shoot an e-mail to tyler@tracksdenver.com to secure a spot — and then get that face and body snatched for the gods, hunty.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
