Moxie Eatery

Unrelated to Louisville's Moxie Bread Co., this cute eatery opened in June 2016 and marks Dylan Moore's return to South Broadway. Moore was previously the chef/owner of Deluxe and Delite, which operated just a few doors south on Broadway for nearly a decade. Moxie's space is a marked departure from Moore's previous ventures, though: it's a simple, spare little space with playful touches like orange chairs and the affirming statement "You are beautiful" welcoming all guests at the front door. The menu is equally charming, offering light dishes for breakfast, lunch and early dinner: think an upscaled PB&J made with almond, not peanut, butter, and the delightful falafel waffle bowl.
