Denver may be known as the bass capital, but anyone who lives here knows that almost all genres thrive in the metro. And out West, the country genre has a stronghold, reflected in local outlaw acts like the Barlow or at classic honky-tonk venues such as the Grizzly Rose, which hosts live music six nights a week.

This year, we have several major country artists bringing their tours to town. If you're looking for some boot-stomping fun, take a peek at these shows below:

Thursday, July 17, 6:30 p.m.
Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre, 6350 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Greenwood Village

Keith Urban is bringing his blockbuster High and Alive tour to Fiddler's Green, where he's sure to perform all the big hits. The show includes openers Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen and Karley Scott Collins.

Ball Arena, 1000 Chopper Circle

Jason Aldean's Full Throttle Tour has been living up to its name, so get ready for a good time at Ball Arena. The show will include special guests Nate Smith, Raelynn and Dee Jay Silver as a cherry on top.

Outlaw-country singer Cody Jinks is one of the world's biggest independent country artists, and he's currently on the Hippies & Cowboys Tour. The show comes on the heels of his Lefty Frizzell tribute album, which the multi-platinum singer-songwriter released last December.

Texan country artist Parker McCollum is bringing his What Kinda Man Tour to Red Rocks, where he'll perform his hits after openers Kameron Marlowe and Hudson Westbrook.

Country artist Billy Currington is touring his latest album, Summer Forever. The Georgia native made his dreams come true in Nashville, where he moved at age eighteen before breaking out with his debut self-titled album in 2003. Listen to tunes new and old at his shows in Dillon and Colorado Springs.

Lainey Wilson is a Grammy-winning contemporary-country darling, and you can see what the hype is about at Ball Arena, where the singer is stopping on her Whirlwind World Tour. The show will include special guests ERNEST and Kaitlin Butts.

Eleven-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton will bring his All-American Road Show to Denver for a two-night run. The country star, who released the album Higher last year, is considered one of the best in the genre currently, and his show will be opened by special guest Allen Stone.

If you're not a Chris Stapleton, country singer Gavin Adcock is the next best thing to satiate your country appetite. Conner Smith and Lanie Gardner will open the show at Ford Amphitheater.

Wynonna Judd and Shelby Lynne are on the Little Big Town tour, which will bring the co-headliners to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs for two evenings of country crooning.

Country-rock band the Red Clay Strays will bring its Alabama-infused tunes to Red Rocks for two nights alongside Muscadine Bloodline and Justin Jeansonne the first night, and the Dip and Taylor Hunnicutt the next.
