An e-mailer who read "The Debut of News on the Deuce: Were They Trying to Make It So Funny?," a blog published earlier today, took note of another massive glitch on Channel 2 last night that I'd stumbled upon but then forgotten amid all the botches that afflicted the launch of the station's 7 p.m. newscast. Around 9:40 p.m., during a typically dramatic episode of One Tree Hill, the drama suddenly disappeared -- replaced by TMZ, the TV version of the popular gossip website, which was supposed to air at 10 p.m. Moreover, according to the viewer, the latter show continued to run for about ten minutes before technicians were able to switch back to One Tree Hill. Then, at 10 p.m., TMZ started all over again.

Thus far, anyway, the Deuce is wild.
