As pointed out in an August 30 Latest Word blog, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs student blogger Adam Brickley is being given credit in many quarters for being the first to envision Alaska governor Sarah Palin as a Republican vice-presidential candidate via his prescient website, www.palinforvp.blogspot.com. And by "many quarters," I mean Fox News and, more impressively, The Colbert Report, helmed by Stephen Colbert. In case you missed it, check out Brickley's hilarious appearance on the Comedy Central staple last week, complete with his admission that he conceived the Palin campaign at his mom's house.
