Westword.com is looking for mountain-addicted wordsmiths to help us tell the stories of Colorado's outdoor-sports scene. If you spend your weekends dodging lift lines, count Sniagrab as a national holiday, and -- here's the kicker -- can write as well as you board or bike, we want to hear from you. (And unlike that other job, you can't be high all the time).

We're looking for year-round, part-time (a few hours a week) help from passionate, experienced freelancers who can bring energy and ideas to Westword.com. If that's you, e-mail a résumé, writing samples and three ideas for recurring features to Joe Tone, web editor, at [email protected]. No phone calls, please.

BEFORE YOU GO...
Can you help us continue to share our stories? Since the beginning, Westword has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver — and we'd like to keep it that way. Our members allow us to continue offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food, and culture with no paywalls.
