Bubba Chinos, the burrito chain started by Leonard Cordova, grandson of Stella Cordova, the late and legendary Chubby's founder, will open a new franchise location at 1361 Court Place next month.

"We're excited to cater to the downtown crowd. There aren't many lunch options over here," says franchise owner Kenneth Gomez. "We'll have TV's and free wifi and we plan on hosting some cool events. We'll also serve beer and wine."

Bubba Chinos has seen numerous openings and closings over the past two years; here's a complete list of open locations:

3900 South Wadsworth Boulevard and the original location at 160 North Federal Boulevard, both of which are still owned by Leonard Cordova.

Cordova has also done franchise deals at these locations:

1600 East Colfax Avenue 201 South Main Street, Brighton 3000 South Federal Boulevard 6400 West 20th Avenue 8807 1/2 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood

And the new location downtown, which Gomez hopes to open the first week of June.
