Some people just stand out. Whether their style is cutting-edge, quirky or just well-executed, they make you want to know: How do they do it? Because we work for you, we're finding out. Each day, we'll hit the streets and talk to one person who catches our eye and makes us look twice. Today, we caught up with newlywed Sarah Domareck in Cherry Creek, who, despite the winter chill, managed to rock a casual fall blue dress with the always-appreciated cowboy boots -- but her favorite footwear, she told us, is her Uggs. Name: Sarah Domareck Occupation: Performance Communications Specialist

Westword: Where do you get your fashion inspiration from? Sarah Domareck: I would say my friends and celebrities.

WW: Where do you like to shop? SD: Anthropology, Banana Republic, J Crew, and a local shop, Unity.

WW: What is your favorite article of clothing that you own? SD: At the moment, I have to say my Gucci shoes.

WW: What is your favorite winter apparel? SD: I'm not going to lie: I would have to say my Ugg boots. I love them and Lola loves them, and that's all that matters.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
