Show your support for local fashion, local music, local food and local people at this evening designed to complement all types. The first part of the night is a fashion show, highlighting the work of Brian “Scoop” Nemeth, who has high-functioning Aspergers and sews complex fashions including swimwear, skirts, vests, pants and more. After a brief intermission, there will be a concert featuring Mer Sal and the Symbols, a female-fronted funk-pop-rock trio from Fort Collins. Westword's signature event is a multimedia celebration of Denver's art and culture scene, and the Whiteout fashion show is always a highlight of the evening. This year the theme is street style, and designers who will show their work on the runway include Anna Festa, Mona Lucero, Jiberish, Denver Bespoke, D’Lola Couture, Elyse Rainbolt  and Gino Velardi. Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare will be doing hair and makeup, and models will be provided by Wilhelmina Denver.
