Now you can try growing your own version of the plants that Bubbles, Julian and Ricky love so much, thanks to a partnership between the Boys and cannabis breeder Brothers Grimm of Johnstown, Colorado.
According to an announcement from Brothers Grimm, the Trailer Park Boys and their cannabis business partners at Hemptown Naturals teamed up with the breeder to produce a line of feminized cannabis seeds. The name of the project's first strain is Ricky's Hash Plant, in honor of the group's main stoner and troublemaker.
Brothers Grimm founder Rick Campanella says he wanted to go with something strong and close to home for a strain named after the Sunnyvale Trailer Park legend, so he chose Puck, a heavy nighttime variety from north of the American border.
"That originated up in Canada...a real solid indica, 100 percent Afghan," Campanella says of Puck. "For Ricky, if he's asking for a hash plant, I wanted to bring things a little more to the indica side, so I took that and we crossed it with Airborne G13. It has a potency that will knock you down."

Ricky's Hash Plant is the first strain in a collaboration line between Trailer Park Boys and Brothers Grimm.

Ricky's Hash Plant seeds come in packs of nine and can be purchased online for $50 from Brothers Grimm. According to the breeder, the Trailer Park Boys will talk more about the strain on their podcast this Friday, November 8.
Selling cannabis seeds was acknowledged as federally legal in a 2022 memo from the Drug Enforcement Administration, which considers immature cannabis plants as industrial hemp. Earlier this year, Colorado lawmakers passed a law allowing licensed cannabis growers to sell seeds to "authorized' consumers in and outside of Colorado.
