The holidays are all about food, family and giving. Today you can bring together the trinity of holiday ideals during Dine Out for CASA. Take your family or friends to eat at the second location of Great Scott's Eatery, at 7510 US Highway 287 in Broomfield, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. and 20 percent of your tab will be donated directly to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Adams and Broomfield counties. There will even be a special appearance by the jolly old man himself: Santa will be stopping by the restaurant from 5 to 7 p.m. to take a few photos and spread some holiday cheer. CASA is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that trains and supervises community volunteers to represent the best interests of child victims of physical, sexual or emotional abuse and neglect.
