One of Denver's hottest new neighborhoods is rising on the footprint of one of its oldest: Over the past few years, Prospect Park has popped up in the old railyards by Coors Field in the Platte Valley. And now there's a neighborhood bar for this area: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which the Tavern Hospitality Group will open today in the same complex at 29th and Huron Street that's already home to Tokio, a Santiago's outlet and a pizza joint. Like the other Tavern locations, WTF has a great rooftop deck from which you can see all the changes in the area -- but inside it has a different, more intimate look, as well as a smaller, curated menu. And while the bar is fully stocked, there's a big emphasis on whiskey -- more than ninety kinds. Keep reading for a look at this new watering hole, courtesy photographer Danielle Lirette.

After a series of practice parties over the past week, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will open late today. After the official opening, it will be open for lunch, happy hour and dinner seven days a week, as well as weekend brunch, which should be very popular in this area.
