Sunday at Vail was ridiculous. Rumor had it that upwards of 18,000 people were on the slopes, which I guess is understandable: Vail reported 9 inches officially, but back in the bowls there was definitely snow up past my knees, which made for some epic runs.

That's the tradeoff, I suppose, epic runs for epic lift lines. But, as this season has already definitely confirmed, skiing is a social experience, and there was lots of socializing going on today in the lift lines. And apart from the three cars and a semi off the road on Eastbound I-70 over Vail pass, most people seemed to be having pretty spectacular days.
