Generally considered a sativa-dominant hybrid, this strain originates from the Chemdawg family of cannabis strains -- with lineage likely from the Chemdawg '91 crossed back with several Northern Lights hybrids. The lemony, skunky sour strain will kick you in the nose with a ripe, spicy fuel scent that comes through with a delicious, mouth-watering rubbery tartness from a green bowl. Grown right, it will put your head into a hammock for a couple of hours with a heavy, brain-slowing punch that mellows into a euphoric haze. The popular strain is also a good barometer for judging the quality of a shop: If it isn't putting out good Sour D, it's probably not getting anything else right.
