Punk Rock Record Swap and author Bob Suren Reading at Seventh Circle Music Collective (6 p.m. Monday, free)
There's nothing more punk than getting something for free — or for an interesting trade. Bring your excess records, pins, books, shirts and all other things punk to share with fellow hooligans. Bob Soren, record-industry entrepreneur and author of Crate Digger: An Obsession With Punk Records, will be giving readings from his book about collecting. Start off your week with some smart swapping.

Girls Rock Denver Benefit Show at Ratio Beerworks (5 p.m. Thursday, free)
As the work week winds down, you're going to want a beer. Make that beer count by wetting your whistle at Ratio while getting your ears tickled by Automatic Iris, Dagger Dagger and Anna Smith. A dollar from every beer sold will go to Girls Rock Denver, which gives the gift of music to girls around the area. The music, which starts at 6 p.m., is free; the beer is not — but it's all for a good cause.

Dynafit Film Night at Neptune Mountaineering (7 p.m. Thursday, free)
Slopes are opening around the state. Get psyched to make fresh tracks by watching the newest Dynafit ski film, Connections. Following the film there will be a Q&A with filmmaker Thomas Woodson. There's going to be plenty of new equipment to check out and Upslope Beer to guzzle as well.
