What Is Sanctuary?

Warm Cookies of the Revolution hosts a Stupid Questions/Talents night that takes on this question: Does pro-wrestling have anything to do with the sanctuary movement? "There's only one way to find out," organizers say. "Come join us and pro-wrestlers from Rocky Mountain Pro!" The evening promises cookies, activities and plenty of talk; donations of $5 to $10 are suggested, and all money will go to the Metro Denver Sanctuary Coalition. The Post Political Condition: The Failure of Left/Right Politics

Gilad Atzmon, a world-renowned jazz saxophonist (he performed on Pink Floyd's latest album, The Endless River), was born in Israel and served in the Israeli army during the 1982 invasion of Lebanon; he became disillusioned and moved to London. He has since become one of the most outspoken writers challenging not only the Israeli state, but also the ideology and beliefs that created and maintain it. His latest book, Being in Time: A Post Political Manifesto, discusses the phenomenon of identity politics and the left/right paradigm.
