If you're craving an umbrella drink, you might need to wait a few weeks. Denver's only tiki bar, Adrift, at 218 South Broadway, is closed for a remodel. The Polynesian-themed bar and eatery was purchased by the group that owns Little Man Ice Cream, according to a sign posted on Adrift's front door.

The notice states that renovations will keep Adrift, which originally opened in 2012, closed for a couple of weeks, but that it will reopen with new decor, a new menu and enhanced service.

Little Man was founded by real-estate developer Paul Tamburello, whose Generator real-estate firm is also responsible for developing several prominent restaurant sites, including the spaces now home to Linger, Root Down, Ophelia's Electric Soap Box, Bacon Social House (at Cobbler's Corner in Sunnyside) and the retail stretch at West 40th Avenue and Tejon Street that will soon be home to Kindred, a new restaurant from the owner of Brazen and Telegraph.
