Encore, the New American restaurant at the Lowenstein, 2550 East Colfax Avenue, is pouring complimentary glasses of wine from now till Christmas for its customers -- but there's a good will catch: In order to sip, you've got to bring a new unwrapped toy, which the staff will donate to Columbine Elementary School as part of their annual holiday toy drive.
"Last year we had a great turnout, with over 100 guests donating toys to the school and we hope to have similar success this season," says owner Steve Whited. The teachers will distribute the gifts to their students from now until Christmas Day, so the sooner you get down to Encore with a new toy, the sooner you'll be sipping vino. Cheers.
