Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the beeriest of them all? The Wynkoop Brewing Company, which has hosted the Beer Drinker of the Year contest for years, has introduced a new competition: the Master of the Brewniverse competition, which honors the makers rather than the drinkers -- although they benefit from the event, too.
The brew festival and competition will take place at the Oriental Theater from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. tonight, when guests will be able to enjoy unlimited samples from over fifteen breweries competing in the event. In the beer pageant portion, representatives from each brewery will compete before a panel of judges for the title of "Master of the Brewniverse," competing in fashion, interview and talent sections. If you get hungry during all of this excitement, there will be food trucks parked in the area to feed your beer-filled bellies.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased online. All proceeds will be donated to Mile High United Way.
