Frasca Food and Wine welcomes Craig Lewis, who will pour and explore three wines from New York City- based Grand Cru Selections, during the last Monday Night Wine Dinner of March. The restaurant's Monday Night Dinners are $50 for a prix fixe four-course tasting menu, with optional wine pairings ranging from $40 to $50. For the sixteenth year in a row, a who's-who of Denver's top chefs have donated their time, talent and delicious soups and appetizers to support Porter Hospice and The Butterfly Program. During Soups for the Soul, guests can bid on items in the silent auction while enjoying small bites and sips from over twenty local restaurants. The benefit runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Tickets are $120 or $90 for young professionals; get yours and learn more here.  

The Way Back, a new cocktail bar and restaurant at 4132 West 38th Avenue, is scheduled to launch its drink menu today. The restaurant is the brainchild of Denver food-industry veterans Chad Michael George, an alum of Williams & Graham and president of the Colorado Bartender’s Guild; and Kade Gianinetti and Jared Schwartz, who co-own the American Grind food truck. Starting today, the bar will offer handcrafted cocktails, local beers, wines, sherry and cider. Under the direction of chef Robert Andreozzi, the Flour + Fire series at Pizzeria Locale Boulder continues to explore traditional southern Italian cooking “al forno," or oven-baked; each month will focus on a different area of Italy with a four-course family-style meal, including wine pairings. Tonight's dinner, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will highlight the dishes of the Le Marche region. Tickets are $125; reserve your spot and find out more by calling the restaurant at 303-442-3003.  

The Denver Grub Club will hold an all-inclusive dinner featuring tea-infused drinks and dishes at Bistro Vendôme from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight. The dinner will feature ten educational food and beverage stations, including a duck confit station with live chef demo; a cheese tasting with Truffle Cheese Shop, Grateful Bread, and White Wine;  French beer with Diebold Brewery and much more. Tickets are $75,  and include a gift bag with a duck confit kit, DiningOut Passbooks and magazines, Teakoe tea samples, and discounted drinks at Bistro Vendôme’s sister restaurants, Rioja, Stoic & Genuine and Euclid Hall. Comida at The Source will be pairing up with RiNo Yacht Club, Sombra Mezcal, Astral Tequila and My Essential Wine for a collaboration dinner tonight. For $65, guests will receive wine, specialty cocktails, 1.5 ounce sips of each liquor, an oyster course and three courses of Mexican-inspired dishes. For reservations, call 303-296-2747. 

Firenze a Tavola will hold a four-course wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. tonight, highlighting the foods from Firenze chef Mario Petit's Florentine restaurant Masticabrodo. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., and is $33; for reservations and more information, contact the restaurant at 303-561-0234.

Thursday, March 31 

Baur’s Restaurant and Listening Lounge is hosting a Nose-to-Tail Dinner from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. tonight. The dinner will include five courses focusing on different parts of a whole pig; each course will be served with a cocktail or beer pairing. Tickets are $75; reserve yours by calling 303-615-4000. 

Friday, April 1 

Dancer and choreographer Gwendolyn Gussman presents Nourishment, a multi-sensory performance that will take over the Fleming Mansion today through April 3.  The evening aims to entice all five senses through dance, live music, visual arts, food (including chocolate) and drinks, and more, while guests — along with performers —tackle the question: What does it feel like to fall in love?
