Our recent post about the ten scariest license plates to see in a snowstorm garnered a passionate response from readers, many with horror stories to tell. But one commenter noted that seeing a Colorado plate on a car doesn’t mean the person behind the wheel drives like a native.
Candie Bernard writes:
The license plates don’t mean a thing. The worst drivers out here are the transplants who came from states that receive little snow. The Texans and Californians are among them. They could have lived here long enough to obtain Colorado plates but that doesn’t mean that they are capable of driving safely in Colorado weather.
